GEG leaders from the Asia Pacific hosted their first multi-language training last October 13. Nine YouTube live streams covering English, Japanese, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malay, Tamil, Korean, Filipino, and Nepalese were hosted by GEG leaders across Asia. This initiative started with GEG leaders connecting monthly since April 2019 to share best practices and culminated with the first Asia Live session. They intend to do this at least once a month to share with more teachers how they use technology in the classroom. Watch the video from

With a total of over 2,200 combined views (at the time of writing!) across 9 languages let’s hope this is an event that can be replicated!
Special mention goes to Nathan Gildart of GEG Nagoya. Nathan had experienced greater participation in YouTube Live GEG events locally, and shared this with the GEG APAC leaders. With lots of support form APAC GEG Leaders (and another special mention to Gary Garcia - GEG Ortigas) the event was launched.
